Excavation of 1951 Shattuck will extend through the month of September.
August of 2022 marked some milestones for the 1951 Shattuck Project. The tiebacks around the perimeter of the site were completed, making room on the site for the next stage of construction.

Over the course of the next couple weeks you will see a regular cycle of trucks driving on and off site as we continue to off-haul dirt to reach the level working pad for the below grade parking garage.

Once the off-haul of dirt has been completed, you will start to see the flow of rebar and concrete trucks driving on and off site as we prepare for our Mat Foundation Pour.

By the end of the month a Liebherr 316 EC-H 12 Litronic Tower Crane will remain in place for the next year while the building is being constructed. This crane has a height under hook at 212 ft! The Tower Crane foundation prep work is undergoing and will continue until the Tower Crane erection.
Cal Bear's football season is also fast approaching, and we will be coordinating work on days they do not have home games. Go Bears!
