Once the mat foundation was poured formwork was able to begin for the raised floors. You can see below the workers putting up the beams and supports for the formwork.


Once the supports and beams were fully placed, wood was laid out on top of the formwork creating the working deck.
Seen below are workers pouring the ramp between the basement levels.


The basement walls were made with concrete by using a technique called Shotcrete. This is where concrete is shot out of a hose at high pressures rather than being poured.

The sequence of formwork, pouring columns and decks will continue up the building over the next several months. You will see a regular cycle of trucks driving on and off site as rebar and concrete are put in place and bringing all this material on site SAFELY!
